Dear TAA members and friends,

On behalf of the New England Friends of Tsai Ing-Wen, I am pleased to announce that a special reception will be held in honor of Dr. Tsai after her talk at Harvard University on September 15. Please go to the link, http://goo.gl/CD5zv, to register your interest in receiving an invitation.

Based on the initial survey, this reception is likely to be over-subscribed due to space limitation. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible. It is very unlikely that we will be able to accommodate anyone who has not registered by the deadline (Thursday 8/25).

ANNOUNCEMENT
Dr. Tsai, Ing-Wen, likely the first female President to be elected in an Asian country long under the influence of Chinese culture, will give a talk on "Taiwan: Policy challenges, choices, and leadership in the next decade" at 4:15pm on September 15th at Yenching Auditorium of Harvard University (2 Divinity Avenue, Cambridge, MA. 02138).
